The Glory Games: Volleyball 2020
“Sports also offer a kind of community and connection to people that is difficult to duplicate. Whether it’s regular pick-up basketball games, rooting for the same team, or being softball teammates, sports bring people together. And people together is where real eternal ministry is done best.
I believe sports are a gift, a good gift, that God gave through human creativity for our enjoyment. They should be participated in at every level and in every way as such. And just like all of life, we ought to approach them with thoughtfulness, discernment, and intentionality.” -B. Piper
The Glory Games is here. We invite you to join our annual Co-ed Volleyball Tournament! This two-day event is open to all church sponsored teams. Whether you live near or far, we hope you will bring your team to play and compete for the glory of God!
A huge part of GG is our praise and worship night on Friday evening. We ask that your team be present that night in order to participate in the tourney. This year, we are so grateful to have special guest speaker, Alex Ng, and the Living Word Evangelical Church worship team to join us!
NEW RULE CHANGE: This year, we will have two divisions to distinguish the level of play: Recreational & Competitive. Each division is capped at 8 teams max. This is meant to encourage more equal play and enjoyment for teams of similar volleyball skill level.
