Sandy PAWS Volleyball Tournament
Downers Sand Club Sports Bar & Grill
Celebrate the end of a long, cold winter by getting your paws in the sand for our charity volleyball tournament, benefiting PAWS Chicago!
The tournament is on Friday, March 27th at Downers Sand Club Sports Bar & Grill. We will have some courts reserved for the tournament, which may include up to 40 players. Players will need to pay $25 each in order to compete.
We also plan on hosting a few raffles featuring prize baskets that have been generously provided by some local businesses.
If you’re not in the mood to play volleyball, a certain percentage of food and drinks sold at the event will also be going to PAWS Chicago, so feel free to support our cause with a court-side meal!
All profits from the tournament and raffle tickets will go to PAWS Chicago. PAWS Chicago is dedicated to building No Kill communities—starting with a No Kill Chicago—where all healthy and treatable pets are saved. Since PAWS Chicago’s founding in 1997, the number of homeless animals euthanized per year in Chicago has dropped more than 80 percent. In 2016, PAWS Chicago found loving homes for more than 5,100 homeless pets. Because of my love for pets and long distance running, I have decided to raise money for PAWS Chicago while joining their charity team for the 2020 Chicago Marathon.
